Common questions about joining, playing, and reporting on Joe's CnR.

1. How do I join and which version of GTA 5 and FiveM do I need?

  • You can join via https://cfx.re/join/qlov69 or by looking for "Joe's Cops and Robbers" in the FiveM Enhanced server browser.
  • You need the Enhanced version of GTA 5 and FiveM to join our server, which is free for all owners of GTA 5 on PC. Download the Enhanced version of GTA 5 from wherever you own GTA (Steam, Epic Games, Rockstar Launcher), then install the Enhanced version of FiveM from https://fivem.net/.

2. How do I do X in-game? How do I earn money? How do I switch jobs?

The wiki explains nearly all features, jobs, and roles on the server. It also contains a starter guide. If the wiki did not answer your question, ask in game chat or in the help channel on our Discord.

3. How do I report RDM, VDM, combat logging or cross teaming?

  • We do not have rules for RDM, VDM, combat logging, cross teaming, or similar acts. All of these scenarios are handled entirely in-game by the server and do not require manual moderation. If you do not want to be killed while grinding, you can pledge to Pacifism in the Interaction Menu (M) to go into passive mode.

4. How do I report cheating, exploiting or hate speech?

  • Please use /report [ID] in-game to report players. This works for offline players as well since their numeric ID is unique and permanent. We will gather evidence ourselves when a report is received and generally do not need clips or screenshots, but you can include them via links (for example Imgur, YouTube, or Medal) in the notes section if you think it helps.

5. How do I report bugs or exploits?

  • At this moment you may use our Discord server to report any bugs/exploits you find!. An email or ticket system for bug and exploit reports is planned.

6. How do I submit my ideas or suggestions for the server?

  • At this moment you may use our Discord server to suggest/provide your feedback to us! An email or ticket system for bug and exploit reports is planned.

7. I have lost my account, progress or data. How do I get it back?

  • Use our Discord server at this moment for any issue you're having or account related an admin will help you out. An email or ticket system for account and data recovery is planned.

8. How do I become a Staff member?

  • You can't apply for Staff member, it's invite-only for players we see them good fit to join our team.

9. How can I support the server?

  • Due to the unexpected huge growth and having 50+ concurrent players, we’re looking at upgrading our servers soon. This will be funded by store purchases and, of course, our own wallets.
