Privacy
Last updated 26 September 2026
This policy covers personal data we process for Joe's CnR: the website joescnr.com, the game server, the staff panel, and the Discord bot. It does not cover store checkout as Tebex is the merchant of record (MoR) for the store with its own privacy policy.

Website
Opening the site can leave a normal server log: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser type. We use that to run the site and to deal with abuse. There is no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookie.
Login with Discord is optional. Discord then sends us your Discord user ID, username, and avatar. We do not ask for your email address. A session cookie keeps you signed in. That cookie is required for the login itself. While you are signed in, our Discord bot checks whether your account has a role that allows wiki editing or the stocks page. If your Discord account is linked to a game account, the session also holds your in-game name, player ID, and whether JOE+ is active.
The leaderboard is public. It shows in-game names, player IDs, and the figure for cash, playtime, kills, or stock portfolio value.
The stocks page, for signed-in players who are allowed to open it, shows your in-game cash, portfolio, and recent trades. Buying and selling still happens in-game.
The wiki is public. Editors sign in with Discord. Images uploaded for articles are stored with the site.
Game account
You join through FiveM. We store the identifiers FiveM passes to the server, and the name you pick. The account also holds character appearance, inventory, vehicles, properties, crew membership, money, stats, milestones, and the rest of your progress.
Any messages sent in chat are logged alongside your in-game name and player ID for moderation purposes. These logs are only accessible to staff members.
The in-game phone stores messages between players on the server. Photos you take with the phone camera are stored on our image host. Each photo gets a direct link that is not listed anywhere. Anyone who has that link can open the picture.
Linking Discord is optional. You start it in-game and confirm it with /link on our Discord. We then save your Discord user ID on the game account, and the bot can give you the linked role, plus the JOE+ role when that membership is active. If you unlink, the active link is removed. We still keep the last Discord ID so the one-time link bonus cannot be claimed again.
If you redeem JOE+, we store when that membership ends on your game account. We do not process your card number or Tebex checkout details here.
Moderation
Staff can view your account details via Discord or the staff panel. They can warn, mute, kick, or ban. A ban record stores the reason, who issued it, your name, your identifiers, and how long it lasts.
Authorized staff can also watch a live picture of your game and save a short clip of that view. A clip can be stored with a ban and is used to review rule breaks. These clips only record your game view via NUI and do not record audio or anything else on your computer.
Discord bot
The Discord bot can see membership and roles on our Discord server. It does not read your messages. /link uses your Discord user ID to connect the game account. When your roles change, the bot can update matching in-game staff permissions, or remove them if you leave the server.
Who else sees data
Other players see what the game shows them: your character, your name, your chat, your crew tag, and the public leaderboard.
Discord (Discord Inc., United States) receives data when you log in, when the bot checks or assigns roles, and when we post staff logs. Discord describes its own processing and the safeguards for transfers outside the EU in its privacy policy.
FiveM (Cfx.re) and Rockstar Games run the platform you use to join. They process account and connection data under their own rules. We only receive what their server connection passes to us, mainly the identifiers.
Tebex processes store purchases.
How long we keep it
Account data, phone messages, and phone photos stay while the account exists. You can ask us to delete the account. Ban, warning, and mute records, and clips tied to them, stay as long as we need them to enforce and review those actions. A permanent ban stays on record so it can still be enforced.
Staff logs on Discord stay in those channels. Discord also stores them under its own rules. The website session cookie lasts until you log out or it expires.
Why we are allowed to do this
We process data to provide the game and the website features you use (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Safety, moderation, logs, cheat checks, the public leaderboard, and running the servers are based on our legitimate interest in a working and fair server (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object to processing that rests on that interest. If the law requires us to keep something, we do that too (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR).
Discord login and account linking only happen because you start them. You can log out or unlink. Logs already written for moderation are not wiped by that.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, or restriction, and you can ask for a copy of the data you provided. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email legal@joescnr.com. We may need your in-game name, player ID, or Discord ID to find the right account.
